Sir Ian brings the adventure to you...
Come on a guided quest with Sir Ian to hunt the dragon. Along the way brave kids will learn the skills of a knight by playing medieval games including sword fighting, jousting (with hobby horses), tug of war and a tunnel run on the way to facing the dragon.
The kids split into two teams and prepare for the quest by choosing their shields and learn what the symbols used in heraldry mean. They dress in a tunic and then are knighted by Sir Ian (a keen re-enactor see photo) who explains how to be chivalrous like a knight. They then receive their foam sword for some basic sword skill practice. Emphasis is on safety, participation and fun- some games may be left out or lengthened depending on kids age. The quest also includes pass the parcel, pin the lance on the dragon and a treasure hunt.
All this at your party venue or nearby park (in the Greater Sydney area).
$240 for parties of 4-12 eager kids, additional kids $10 each (1 and a half hours).
There are lots of photo opportunities for dress ups in high quality medieval armour or put your kids in the stocks!
Take homes include:
-cardboard shield of medieval design
-pass the parcel gift + prizes
-chocolate bars and treasure coins
-dragon slayer certificate
Pinata and loot bags can also be arranged.
